Asset transfer
Your project is considered complete when it’s ready to be used and moves into a production environment. Your ministry must also have recovered all applicable project costs from the DIO.
At this stage, your ministry submits a request to transfer your project to an asset. After this occurs, your ministry becomes responsible for funding amortization, ongoing support and maintenance for the asset.
Connect with your ministry contact if you have any questions about the asset transfer process.
Close-out report
Once your ministry has confirmed the completion of your project, submit a close-out report to signal to the DIO that your asset is complete. Your submission is due in the quarter after your ministry has recovered the final funds for your project.
Submit your close-out report to the DIO, and CC the Digital Advisory Services (DAS) Director. Your DIO portfolio contact can provide contact information for the DAS Director.
Before you submit a project close-out, your ministry must submit a WIP Asset Number Completion form. Contact your ministry contact to confirm it was submitted.
Project 360 Survey
Every project team must complete a mandatory survey when they complete their project.
At the end of a project, we will ask your ministry contact to identify 3 or 4 people from the team most familiar with the project to complete a survey. These individuals should have worked closely on the project throughout its lifetime, and could include the project manager, product owner, executive sponsor, project director or a contractor.
We use the results from this survey in our annual DIO report.
Individuals identified to complete a Project 360 Survey will receive a link to the survey by email.
