- Protected A: The lowest level of classification for sensitive B.C. government information. Protected A information includes personal information or internal government information that, if disclosed, would cause only limited harm.
- Protected B: A mid-level classification for sensitive B.C. government information. Protected B information includes information that, if disclosed, could cause serious harm to an individual or government operations.
- Protected C: The highest level of classification for sensitive B.C. government information. Protected C information includes highly sensitive data where unauthorized disclosure could cause extremely serious harm to individuals or to government operations.
