    A computer program that can answer questions or have conversations with people. For example, Microsoft Copilot Chat.

  • Data

    Any piece of information suitable for use in a computer, like text, numbers or images.

  • Cloud computing

    Storing and using data via on-demand internet access instead of on your computer.

  • Database

    An organized collection of data that’s stored electronically.

  • Cloud computing model

    How cloud resources are delivered and managed. The 3 main cloud computing models are Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).

  • Agent

    A system or program that can act on instructions, make decisions or perform tasks on behalf of a person or organization.

  • Agentic AI

    A type of artificial intelligence designed to take actions or make decisions on behalf of a user or organization, often with some level of autonomy. Agentic AI can complete tasks based on goals or instructions set by people.

  • Agile

    A project management approach that focuses on flexibility, collaboration and delivering value in small, manageable steps.

  • AI assistant

    A computer program or tool powered by artificial intelligence that helps people complete tasks. An AI assistant can answer questions, create documents, summarize information or perform other support tasks to help users work more efficiently.

  • AI model

    A program trained to do tasks such as writing text or creating images.
